Happy 2012 ^^
I’ve started to do a summary of 2011 but it just feels like too much stuff happened last year for me to squeeze in to a blog post. That’s why it was a relief to see Emilia Bergmark-Jiménez’s beautiful pictures from new year’s! All pictures are taken from her tumblr.

Aber Hallo
Life is actually, about, 100% more fun than it looks like in this loopcam-gif. This is taken last night when I was waiting for the subway to get me back home from a night of barhopping. Living in Berlin (and especially during the summer) is the: best. Good thing I have a lot of fun things to do with great colleagues at work so that the weekdays are a much fun as the weekends.  Projects to do...

South Korea
Just saw this video by the South Korean agency Cheil that won an award at Cannes yesterday. My god, I stalked this guy from Cheil so much for an internship in Seoul. Really, getting an internship there, or anywhere in Korea for that matter, was a real hassle. I went to Seoul without knowing anyone or anything or any place.   I just knew that I wanted to go a dynamic city that, and I’m...

Just watched Eli Pariser on how the filter bubbles that determine how we access the internet. I’ve had these thoughts for a while and wrote about them in: “Based on previous choices”. If you don’t care about search results, make the jump and check out IDA’s talent at Daum TV today:

A really, and I mean really, nice way of tapping into the world of gif:s. oh-so-coco: NEW YORK, NY. Through my new friends at tumblr headquarters I’ve recently come in contact with a very talented young photographer named Jamie. She and her fiance create these unique images that are more than a photo, but not quite a video.  The technology to create GIF’s has been around a while but I...

Sweep sweep
So I’m in the process of writing a school assignment of the mobile future (go figure…) and I stumbled upon a lot of information about the NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. It can be described like this: “sweep sweep” Yep, you just sweeeeep your cell phone over a transmitter and you’ll get all the information you want. Or you pay for your grocerys with your...

Genius mobile services →
Mårten just made a post about the Starbucks mobile app which enables the user to pay for a cup of coffee through their mobile. Why on earth is that not a service we should take for granted in 2011? Me and Tor met up with Ian Kwon last week, founder of Fanatic.fm and digital agency inmD. We talked a bit about the korean mobile services. Through Gifiticon, a popular service over here, people can...

Spent the last weekend in Copenhagen and got to hang out with my gurlz for a couple of days  (and my new Canon 550D!!!!111one). The weekend ended in a pretty abrupt way on Sunday morning when I found out that I by mistake had booked an earlier flight back home. Rushed from my brunch and managed to pack my stuff AND check in at the airport 32 minutes later. Let’s just call it the flight of...

#berghs
Together with Jonas Lidman, I just facilitated an introduction course to the creative process for the art/copy class of Berghs school of communication. It was fun, not just because Berghs is one of the worlds best schools of advertising (next to Hyper Island of course), but also because I got to experience both sides of being a students as well as acting as a teacher at the same time. Weird. We...

Kitty boy in fur with iPhone
Sunday night. I decided to do what I liked the most as a kid. Cutting out pictures from the newspaper and putting them together in a new way. I’ve must have been the best daughter ever to entertain. “You bored? Here you go kid… a bunch of papers and a scissor. See you later.” I call this one “Boy with legs drinking coffee”. (guest starring: “Man with...

Update, October 19: Ok, I understand that I have to explain this blog post further. What I meant with “depressing” was the rather lonley and perhaps, sad, man sitting all by himself in the booth made out of glass. Outside were loads of people walking by and hardly noticing the man who held his hands above his head to stop the Skittles from pouring down at him every fifteen minutes....
